Rampage - Hipsters

“Rampage – Hipsters” is one of Trevor Philips’ exclusive Strangers & Freaks missions in Grand Theft Auto V. In this mission, Trevor goes on a violent spree targeting a group of hipsters in Vinewood after being insulted by their dismissive attitudes.

After overhearing some snarky remarks from a group of hipsters in Vinewood, Trevor snaps, triggering a violent rampage. Players must kill as many hipsters as possible within a set time limit, using a variety of Weapons to cause maximum chaos. This mission is a chaotic and fast-paced sequence, offering plenty of opportunities for explosive action in an urban setting.

Setting

This mission takes place in the Vinewood area of Los Santos, an urban district known for its trendy, upper-class atmosphere. The open streets, cafes, and shops provide plenty of cover and opportunities for wide-scale destruction as Trevor takes on waves of hipster attackers.

Objective 1: Start the Rampage

• Trigger the Rampage: The mission begins when Trevor overhears a group of hipsters making insulting comments. This triggers Trevor’s rage, and players must immediately begin taking out the hipster targets.
• Use Explosives: Grenades, sticky bombs, and other explosives are highly effective in the crowded urban environment. Use them to take out large groups of enemies and cause significant destruction.

Objective 2: Rack Up the Kill Count

• Maximize Kills: Players must focus on eliminating as many hipsters as possible within the time limit. Take advantage of Trevor’s special ability to reduce incoming damage and deal more damage, allowing you to survive longer and kill more enemies.
• Stay Mobile: The urban environment offers plenty of cover, but players need to stay on the move to avoid getting surrounded by enemy attackers. Keep an eye on the minimap to track enemy reinforcements and position yourself strategically.

Objective 3: Survive Until Time Runs Out

• Use Cover Effectively: Use the cover provided by the shops, Cars, and street furniture to avoid incoming fire while picking off enemies. Trevor’s special ability can also be activated when overwhelmed, allowing for more aggressive combat.
• Mission Success: The mission ends when the timer runs out. The number of kills you achieve determines your performance, with extra points awarded for using explosives and achieving multi-kills.

Mission Conclusion

• Cutscene: After the rampage ends, a short cutscene shows Trevor walking away from the chaos he’s caused, leaving a path of destruction behind him as he nonchalantly departs the scene.
• Rewards: Completing this mission unlocks additional Rampage Missions, though no cash rewards are given.
