Overview
'Pulling Favors' is a Strangers and Freaks mission in Grand Theft Auto V given to Franklin Clinton by Tonya Wiggins. The mission introduces players to the towing mechanics by having Franklin assist Tonya in towing a car.
Tonya requests Franklin's help to cover for her boyfriend JB, who is supposed to be working but is otherwise occupied. Franklin reluctantly agrees to help and operates the tow truck.
The mission involves driving to the towing location, picking up the vehicle, and delivering it to the impound lot.

Walkthrough
1 Drive to the Tow Truck
- Head to the tow truck location. Franklin begins the mission by meeting Tonya outside her house in South Los Santos, where she directs him to the nearby tow truck.
2 Pick Up the Vehicle
- Drive to the stranded vehicle. Follow the GPS route to find the vehicle that needs towing, located a short distance away.
3 Tow the Vehicle to the Impound Lot
- Attach the vehicle to the tow truck. Use the tow truck's hook to secure the vehicle and begin towing it back to the impound lot.
4 Drop Off the Vehicle at the Impound Lot
- Deliver the vehicle to the designated area. Once at the impound lot, park the vehicle in the marked area to complete the towing task.
Gold Medal Objectives
- Time — Complete the mission within 5 minutes.
- Unhook Bonus — Keep the vehicle hooked until delivery.
To achieve the gold medal, focus on driving efficiently and avoid unnecessary detours. Keep the vehicle securely attached to the tow truck to ensure the Unhook Bonus.
Aftermath
After completing the mission, Franklin receives a payment of $500 for his assistance. Tonya expresses her gratitude and hints at needing help again in the future.
The mission unlocks 'Pulling Another Favor', a continuation of Franklin's towing tasks for Tonya.
