Rampage - Military

“Rampage – Military” is one of Trevor Philips’ exclusive Strangers & Freaks missions in Grand Theft Auto V. This mission sees Trevor engage in a deadly confrontation with military personnel near Fort Zancudo, leading to an all-out war against waves of heavily armed soldiers.

Mission Overview

The mission kicks off when Trevor encounters some military personnel and, in typical Trevor fashion, escalates the situation into a full-blown firefight. Players must take down as many soldiers as possible within a set time limit, using heavy weaponry to survive the onslaught. This final Rampage mission offers a tougher challenge with enemies that are more resilient and better equipped than in previous Missions.

Objectives

  • Kill as many military personnel as possible within the time limit.
  • Use heavy weaponry, explosives, and Trevor’s special ability to deal maximum damage.
  • Survive waves of heavily armed soldiers until the mission timer runs out.

Setting

The mission takes place near Fort Zancudo, the heavily guarded military base on the outskirts of Blaine County. The area is filled with military Vehicles, armed soldiers, and various obstacles, providing plenty of opportunities for explosive combat. Trevor faces off against well-armed military personnel, making this Rampage mission the most difficult in the series.

Walkthrough

Objective 1: Start the Rampage

  • Trigger the Rampage: The mission begins when Trevor encounters some military personnel near Fort Zancudo. After a brief exchange, the situation escalates into violence, and players must start eliminating soldiers as quickly as possible.
  • Use Heavy Weaponry: Unlike previous Rampage Missions, Trevor has access to heavier Weapons like Grenade launchers and RPGs. Use these to take out groups of soldiers and Vehicles, causing maximum destruction.

Objective 2: Survive the Assault

  • Stay Mobile: The military personnel are well-trained and heavily armed, so players need to stay on the move to avoid being overwhelmed. Use cover and constantly relocate to avoid taking too much damage from incoming fire.
  • Maximize Kills: The more military personnel you kill, the more you extend the mission timer. Focus on eliminating soldiers and Vehicles efficiently to rack up the highest kill count possible.

Objective 3: Survive Until Time Runs Out

  • Utilize Trevor’s Special Ability: Trevor’s special ability reduces incoming damage and increases the damage he deals. Activate it during the most intense moments to help survive the waves of heavily armed soldiers.
  • Mission Success: The mission ends when the timer runs out. Your performance is based on the total number of kills, with extra points awarded for taking out military Vehicles and causing large-scale destruction.

Mission Conclusion

  • Cutscene: After the rampage ends, a short cutscene plays, showing Trevor standing victorious amid the wreckage of military Vehicles and defeated soldiers. Satisfied with the chaos he’s caused, Trevor leaves the scene.
  • Rewards: Completing this mission marks the conclusion of Trevor’s Rampage series. While no cash rewards are given, players unlock the final stage of the Strangers & Freaks mission line for Trevor.

Trivia
