“Repossession” is one of the early story Missions in Grand Theft Auto V, featuring Franklin Clinton and his partner, Lamar Davis, as they retrieve a motorcycle for Simeon Yetarian, Franklin’s employer. The mission gives players insight into Franklin’s life and the shady business Simeon runs at his dealership.

The mission begins with Franklin and Lamar heading to Vespucci Beach to reclaim a motorcycle from a gang member who defaulted on his payments to Simeon. As the mission unfolds, things quickly escalate into a gunfight. Players are introduced to combat mechanics, including weapon selection and using cover during fights.

Objective 1: Head to Vespucci Beach

• Meet Lamar at Simeon’s Dealership: The mission begins at Simeon’s dealership, where Franklin and Lamar set off to recover the motorcycle. Follow Lamar to the car and drive to Vespucci Beach.
• Driving Controls: Use the left analog stick (or W/A/S/D on PC) to steer. Follow the GPS to Vespucci Beach while Lamar gives some dialogue about the job.

Objective 2: Search for the Motorcycle

• Arrive at the Location: Once you arrive at the beachside apartments, Lamar will suggest splitting up to find the motorcycle. Follow the on-screen instructions to search the garages for the bike.
• Interaction: Use the action button to open each garage door, but beware—trouble is waiting in the final garage.

Objective 3: Fight the Gang Members

• Gunfight: After opening the last garage, you’ll trigger a cutscene that leads to a confrontation with armed gang members. Take cover behind nearby objects and eliminate the enemies.
• Combat Mechanics: Learn how to use cover, aim, and fire effectively during the shootout. Switch Weapons if needed and watch your health.

Objective 4: Chase the Motorcycle

• Chase the Gang Member: After clearing the area, one of the gang members will flee on the motorcycle. Get in the car with Lamar and chase him down.
• Driving Precision: Use your driving skills to stay close to the target while avoiding obstacles and traffic. Eventually, Lamar will catch up to the bike.

Objective 5: Deliver the Motorcycle

• Retrieve the Motorcycle: After Lamar retrieves the motorcycle, your job is done. Follow Lamar to drop it off and complete the mission.

Mission Conclusion

• Cutscene: After delivering the motorcycle, a cutscene will play where Lamar gives Franklin a hard time, and Simeon praises you for a job well done. This concludes the mission.
• Rewards: Upon completing the mission, players receive a monetary reward and further progress in the storyline.
