Man, ain't nobody got time for this. — Stretch
Biography
Harold Joseph, better known by his street name Stretch, was a member of the Families gang in Los Santos. He was released from prison shortly before the events of Grand Theft Auto V and quickly became involved in gang activities again. Stretch was known for his manipulative and self-serving nature, often attempting to undermine others to advance his own position within the gang.
Involvement in GTA V
Stretch first appeared in the mission 'The Long Stretch', where he attempted to involve Franklin Clinton and Lamar Davis in a drug deal that went awry. Throughout the game, he repeatedly tried to position himself as a leader within the Families by orchestrating various schemes and betraying his supposed allies.
Despite his affiliation with the Families, Stretch secretly collaborated with their rivals, the Ballas, which ultimately led to increased tension and violence between the gangs. His betrayal was eventually uncovered, leading to a confrontation with Franklin, Trevor Philips, and Michael De Santa in the mission 'The Third Way', where he was killed.
Personality
Stretch was characterized by his opportunistic and deceitful nature. He was willing to betray anyone, including his own gang members, to achieve his goals. His manipulative behavior often put him at odds with Franklin and Lamar, who were wary of his intentions. Despite his outward confidence, Stretch's actions were driven by a deep-seated desire for power and respect within the gang hierarchy.
Relationships
Stretch had a complex relationship with Franklin Clinton and Lamar Davis. While he attempted to present himself as a mentor figure, his true intentions were often self-serving.
